Vinyasa is a form of yoga in which movement is synchronized to the breath. This style of yoga is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath becomes an important component because the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.
Hatha yoga focuses on breath, meditation and movement. In each class you will balance the body and mind to create a union that is the foundation of yoga.
Our Vinyasa yoga classes are set to music. Restorative yoga classes are taught in a candlelight setting.
Our Hatha yoga classes may include the use of incense and essential oils.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR CLASS:
Please bring a yoga mat (we have regular fitness mats available for use). All other props (blocks, straps, pillows and blankets) will be provided. We have towels and water available at the studio.
